Weather in Samoa continues to be rainy and wet. A large turnout occurred this afternoon at the Fatu-O-Aiga Holy Family Cathedral for church services of the 5th South Pacific Mini-Games.

Heavy rains did not hold back the official Flag Raising ceremonies this afternoon at the Kanana Fou Athlete Village in Tafuna

Rapid round-the-clock construction of the new stadium underway for the 5th South Pacific Mini-Games. As the stadium begins to come together, crews from the American Samoa Power Authority (ASPA) and the Office of Communications (Telecom) connect main power, stadium lights, phones and the public announcement system.
